How To communicate with individual members of the ACN:
There are 2 ways to communicate. First, find the person by clicking "All Members" in the menu bar at the top. That link does not appear in public view, so only subscribers who are signed-in can access it ...
The Assemblies Community Network facilitates planning, collaboration, and communication among thousands of Catholics committed to work for the reform of our Catholic Church in accord with the vision and promise of Vatican II and the impetus of the inaugural convention of the ACC on Pentecost Weekend in June, 2011 (Detroit, MI). This site is a helpful resource for grassroots organizing. By signing up, you can connect with others. Only those who signup can see the names of others in the network and can communicate privately with them as well as post to the discussion forums and use other communication tools. At no point do members' email addresses or personal contact information appear. You can also setup and participate in private local "Planning Groups" among "members" in your area. For more information, contact Technical Support. Prior to signing up, we advise you to read our policies on balancing privacy and transparency in communications. You can find that information in the left column, above the large link labeled "SIGN-UP HERE."
You can read the summary reports by clicking the following links:
The proposed actions that are documented may not include all ideas that were presented in the respective sessions in Detroit. Recognizing these inadequacies, we are attempting to transpose the substance of these reports into thematically aligned discussion forums where ideas and proposed actions can be further explicated.
NEW DISCUSSION FORUMS pickup on these themes and action proposals and can be accessed on the right.
DIRECTIONS FOR POSTING TO FORUMS
GUIDELINES AND POLICIES REGARDING THE FORUMS
The aim is to have these new Discussion Forums provide input from the grassroots and help frame a forthcoming strategic ACTION PLAN that will define the future work of the ACC and inform the deliberations of the National Planning Committee when it meets in November in conjunction with the Call to Action Conference in Milwaukee. The Forums are organized in topical categories across FOUR domains.
A: Principles that inform strategic action; (A1-A3)
B: Topical Action Proposals including recommendations put forth in Detroit; (B1-B9)
C. Mission & Structure of ACC, and its relationship with the grassroots and the larger Catholic reform movement; (C1-C5)
D. Other Topics
There are now NINE categories open for discussion. Others will be opened in the coming weeks.
Note: The Pre-Detroit Forums (Domain "X") have been archived and though they are closed to new postings, they can still be viewed.
SUBMIT YOUR EVENT HERE. Once approved, your event will be appear on the Calendar on this website. The online form is fairly "intuitive", but for step-by-step directions, you can download DIRECTIONS for Submitting Events to ACC Calendar. Posting your event adds "steam" to the momentum for Church Reform and demonstrates the vitality of our movement in the Grassroots. Events may take many forms, i.e. Listening Sessions, followups to Detroit, retreats, workshops, conferences, local/regional Assemblies/Synods, etc. Whether you anticipate a crowd of a thousand or a gathering in your living room,we'd love to know about it!

The American Catholic Council is committed to promoting dialogue across diverse expressions of Catholic Reform that reflect our grounding in the reforms of Vatican II and the Catholic Bill of Rights and Responsibilities adopted in Detroit this past June. For this reason, it is appropriate that we include expressions of reform coming from other quadrants, including those who are blazing new paths through so-called "Independent" Catholic parishes.
